Client Interaction & Safety Guidelines

The Green Tree Day Spa will be re-opening June 1st, with the following modifications in place and with limited available appointments. It may feel different, but we hope you understand we are taking every possible precaution to ensure the safety of our staff and guests.

The underlying safety guidelines and updated policies/procedures are driven by requirements and recommendations made by the GA Board Of Cosmetology, OSHA, industry leaders, and our mission to go above and beyond standards. These protocols continue to be refined and adjusted as needed. We'll keep you informed every step of the way.

The new procedures start with your booking. Safety dictates that we set appointments on a schedule that will allow us to maximize our cleaning and sterilization of all tools, equipment, ourselves, and working areas. To do so, we've temporarily suspended online booking. Instead, to book your next appointment, please email GreenTreeSpa@gmail.com or call (770) 947-8733. If we are not able to pick up or respond immediately, please leave a voicemail and we will be with you as soon as possible. Until we are open, calls are being forwarded to my personal phone, so please excuse my toddler dumping every toy out of her basket in the background when I pick up!

Contactless payments are possible if you provide your credit card information at the time of booking. If you have a gift card or certificate, please provide the gift card number on file so you do not need to bring it to your appointment.

Regarding our regular 24 Hour Cancellation policy, we are not penalizing for any last-minute cancellations due to being sick. We will be charging $25 for any “no-call, no-show” appointments. Please reschedule or cancel your appointment as soon as possible so that we can adjust our schedules accordingly. We are trying our best to get every client back in as quickly as possible, and with additional supply costs, reduced appointments available, as well as being closed for two months, we value your cooperation in giving us advance notice.

We will be reaching out in the next week to reschedule appointments on our waitlist - anyone who we have had to cancel during our closure.

Client Interaction & Safety Guidelines

1. We will be limiting the number of appointments available and doubling our recovery time between clients. This will mean less available appointment times! Please schedule well in advance to ensure you get the time and date you need. We will also be limiting the amount of multiple services - massage & facial package - available, as the meditation room will only be able to have one person at a time (and the wait will be doubled) between services. We will be fully disinfecting the rooms as always, but now our staff will be separated and must wait in their treatment room, or outside of the spa to limit contact, which will further extend the recovery time.

2. Please call when you arrive and wait in your car or outside of the spa. The service provider will meet you outside for a temperature check at our sanitizing station. We appreciate if you arrive with a face mask to your appointment.
We must also ask you these questions when entering the spa:
-Have you had a cough?
-Have you had a fever?
-Have you been around anyone exhibiting these symptoms within the past 14 days?
-Are you living with anyone who is sick or quarantined?

If you answer yes to any of these questions, you will be asked to reschedule your appointment. Our staff is also required to answer these questions prior to their shifts, and in the case they answer yes, please be understanding if we need to reschedule your appointment.

3. Our waiting area will be closed for the time being. Please make arrangements for childcare prior to your visit, and let your spouse know you will be having “alone time” post quarantine. We will not be providing beverages or snacks at this time. You can bring bottled water or a closed container to your service.

4. Our staff will be wearing protective gear for your appointment where possible, as well as continuing to wash hands before and after every guest.

5. Additionally, all spa common areas, workstations, reception area and door handles will be disinfected after each client visit.

6. During your service:

Steam will not be used during your treatment until we are allowed to do so.

We are not yet scheduling for couples massages. Appointments for multiple people at the same time must keep 6 ft distance while in the spa.

7. After your service:

We ask that you allow our staff to pull your products with their gloved hands.

Please keep 6 ft distance from other clients while waiting to check out or to browse products.

You can also expect that our team of skin and body care specialists will make your visit to the spa both safe and enjoyable. We are doing our absolute best to ensure another 20 wonderful years of service in the community.

Please do not hesitate to communicate your questions and concerns to us at any time, and THANK YOU for your continued support of our small business!
