Our Favorite Apps for Staying Happy & Healthy

There are several apps available for the Iphone currently (June 2016) that we would like to highlight.  Some of them are great for exercise, while others have a focus on productivity. 

1. Kayla Itsines "Sweat" App- Fantastic for logging the exercises you'll be doing for the week and it includes a meal planner.  The meal planner has a grocery list function, which is great for gathering the supplies you'll need for the week.  Each exercise has a timer (intervals of 7 minutes) with images of exactly how to perform the movements.  
2. Forest - Forest is a "pomodoro" timer.  It keeps you focused on the task at hand for the amount of time you specify.  We love that it has the ability to tag your activities.  You can then view the amount of time you do things such as cleaning the house, walking, studying, or reading.  As you focus, you gain points.  The points can be used to plant trees!  
3. Balanced - Slides, swipes, shakes, and taps make habit-building tactile and intuitive. Your next goal stays on top, as you swipe completed ones away. The app comes with 50 suggested activities, or you can create your own.
4. Clue - a fantastic app for women to keep track of your health throughout the month.  It responds with insight and detailed information after tracking for about one month.

Douglasville Chick's Night Out

This Women’s Expo will be held on Thursday, April 21 from 6:30 – 9:30 pm at the Douglasville Conference Center and the focus will be all about women.  There will be heavy hor d’oeuvres catered by Proof of the Pudding, a complimentary signature drink and cash bar, a DJ and designer cupcakes.  Visit our booth for special treats, a raffle, and skin analysis by Susanna!
